Description
This is a one-of-one Jamaican artisan piece. Hand-crocheted in Jamaica, it combines a cream/ivory crown with bold horizontal colorwork and a dramatic ruffled brim.
The crown rises into a softly pointed shape, then moves through bands of golden yellow, green, red, pink, white and purple. The brim opens into generous crochet ruffles finished with a variegated edge in blue, green, yellow and pink, giving the piece movement and character from every angle.
